After the initial sector in which the participants will cross the entire riverside front from the city of Lisbon to Algés, the participants will travel to Mafra, passing in Queluz and on roads whose country surroundings make us easily forget the proximity of these places to a great city like Lisbon.

Mafra welcomes the athletes with the first solid and liquid refueling of the day, before heading out onto the roads surrounded by the vineyards and the old military forts of the network of the Lines of Towers, landmarks of the French invasions.

The village of Sobral de Montagraço is one of the emblematic sites of the Torres Lines and will host the end of the first timed section of Granfondo Lisboa, whose arrival will define the podiums of Granfondo Lisboa.

After recovering from the refueling in the old part of the village, the athletes will cross a neutralized course (without timing), with passage in the town of Bucelas, whose name spreads the fame of this wine region around the world.

The final part of the course is one of the main novelties and one of the highlights of this edition.

After the neutralized sector, the participants of the Granfondo Lisboa are waiting for an extra challenge, with the last 11 km of the race being timed and completely closed to traffic, to the finish line, which will be installed in the Parque das Nações. Nations, in a sector that deserves a separate classification.
